Massive Music specializes in voice casting and produces music for the advertising and film industries. A highly creative company that operates worldwide and has offices in London, New York, Los Angeles and Shanghai. In Amsterdam, Massive Music recently moved into a floor in the A'DAM Tower, the redeveloped Shell Tower on the IJ.
THE CHALLENGE
TANK Interior Design designed an inspiring workplace on the 15th floor, where Massive Music professionals can excel. Within this project, Mirato worked very closely with Hekker Interieurbouw and provided the floor and wall finishes. The design for the office design opted for special forms of authentic materials, reuse and innovative use of Donkersloot's classic Fine Vilt.
RESULT
Mark van Vliet, project manager Hekker Interieurbouw: “This was truly a challenging project where a lot was asked of us and our cooperation partners. Mirato thought proactively from the start and brought in a lot of expertise in the field of floor and wall finishing and the processing of the various materials. Partly because of this, we were able to perfectly translate TANK's wishes into an office design that seamlessly matches Massive Music. '
7500 HEXAGONAL FELT TILES IN A 12-COLOR PATTERN
Marcin and Guy, performers Mirato: “When we saw the drawings during the first work meeting, it became clear that we were facing a great challenge: 7,500 hexagonal felt tiles that had to be placed against the wall, ceiling and floor in 12 colors in a continuous pattern. Together, we have developed a working method to process the felt tiles properly. Laying the floor, which consists of a variation of old floor boards, was then child's play. All in all, this is a special project that we are proud of! '
