Overzicht

With 25 district teams, 10 residential care locations and various rehabilitation and day centers, Marente is the largest healthcare provider in the dune and bulb region. The head office in Voorhout is the organizational heart of the organization. Through a rigorous renovation, a future-proof work environment has been created that can provide optimal support to healthcare in the field.

Issue

Marente has signed a long-term lease and, together with the property owner, is investing in a large-scale renovation. The office had to be a place that connects colleagues, offers safety and comfort and, above all, serves the care that Marente provides every day. Extensive research forms the basis of a new workplace concept that matches the DNA of the people and organizational goals.

Concept

An open office structure encourages collaboration, but it also produces more noise. By zoning the building vertically acoustically and putting together the right mix of facilities, there is a place for each individual to enjoy working. The front of the building bustles and flows into comfortable workplaces and quiet zones.

Design

The Marente credos “highly personal” and “as independent as possible” have been incorporated into the formal language by gently alternating rounded corners with sharp lines. The flexibility and variety of spaces give the user the freedom to choose the environment that fits.
